Since 1992 boys and girls have been playing baseball and softball in the Monterey PONY Baseball and Softball League. We are proud to have dedicated businesses and volunteers from our local community who support and sponsor our league. The success of our league is heavily dependent on families and businesses that are able to support the financial needs of our program. Every dollar we collect is spent on costs such as field maintenance, uniforms, umpires, and training opportunities for coaches and players. We are actively seeking sponsorship money so that we may continue to keep fees to participate low, ensuring we are able to offer this opportunity to everyone. Monterey PONY Baseball/Softball, Inc. is a registered tax exempt, non-profit corporation according to Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Tax ID number is 23-7081140. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor please look over the sponsors options form and submit a sponsor application.
Thank you for your willingness to sponsor the teams in our league. We look forward to an exciting and memorable experience for all!
Please contact Treasurer, Jennifer Bodensteiner, if you have any questions.
Sponsors will realize three major benefits to sponsoring the Monterey PONY Baseball Softball League:
Philanthropy: Your sponsorship will impact the lives of hundreds or even thousands of young baseball and softball players.
Tax Deduction: All sponsorships are tax deductible. Sponsors will receive an official league receipt for any monetary league sponsoring.
Advertising: Your sponsorship is money well spent in local advertising. Your investment can realize new business by promoting your small business or corporation to many visitors each season.
Sponsors are exposed to friends and family members of over 300 youth baseball and softball players during the spring season and over 100 youth baseball players during the fall baseball season. As a result, your generous sponsorship has the potential to return a profit by increasing the exposure of your products or services to thousands of people from Monterey and surrounding communities.
